* Make jumper settings for master (c0t3d0) and slave (c0t1d0)
* Format slave disk
* Create your partitions
* Create your directories depending on new partitions on your file system
Ex: mkdir disk1
cd disk1
mkdir backup
* Create new file systems on your just formatted and partitioned disk (slave)
* Ex: newfs /dev/rdsk/c0t1d0s0
newfs /dev/rdsk/c0t1d0s6
* Using an editor add following lines to /etc/vfstab
/dev/dsk/c0t1d0s0 - /backup ufs - yes -
device to mount dev to fsck mount point FS type fsck pass mount at boot mount options
Note: all blanks are 1 tab
* reboot your system
