FAQ for Participants of IFAC DECOM-TT '07.

1. When is the deadline of the early registration fee?

    April the 13th, 2007 is the early registration deadline.

   

2. What are the Registration Fee amounts?
    Professionals (both from academia and industry)
    Late or on-site registration
        - the main or presenting author: 200 Euro;
        - all other authors or non-authors: 125 Euro;

    Students
    Late or on-site registration
        - from all, authors or non-authors: 125 Euro;

    *    Payment for one person: Please write your name and surname clearly in the description field of your money transfer.
    **  Payment for several persons: If you pay for more than one person please state their names clearly in the description field of your money transfer.

3. What is the bank account number to transfer the registration fee? 
    Both for International Participants and participants in Turkey only euro is accepted. If you are not sure about the bank account number which is informed by the editor to you, please send an e-mail to aytac.goren@deu.edu.tr with writing 'bank account number request' and your ID number in subject field.

 

4. What kind of resources (media) can we use for transferring presentations?

    You may use flashdisk,  DVD or CD.

 

5. Which programs can we use for presentaions?

    Every presentation room has a computer which uses MS-Windows XP and MS-Office is installed. Every presentation room also has data show    

    projector for your presentations.

 

6. Will there be internet connection during workshop?

    Yes. There is wireless connection in the presentation rooms and halls of the acitivity place.

 

7. What is my ID (paper) number?

    It is the code given by the editor of the workshop. E.g. TR-032.

 

8. How can I register as an author / non-author?

    Please send an e-mail with to aytac.goren@deu.edu.tr writing your id number and 'online registration form request' in subject field if you want to register online.

 

9. What is the social program of the Workshop?
   
17.05.2007: Turkish Night with authentic music in Hotel.
    18.05.2007: After dinner, trip to town Cesme and Alacati (ice and coffee near the sea).
    19.05.2007: Trip to Ephesus, Virgin Mary House and Kusadası.Registration fee includes lunch and all travel costs with entering prices to the ruins etc durng this trip.

 

10. What are included in registration fee?

    a. Registration for workshop for joining the workshop sections,
    b. Preprints, workshop bag and other promotions,
    c. Coffees and cookies during workshop,

    d. Transfers 'Trip to Selçuk, Kusadasi, Ephesus, House of Virgin Mary' activity on May 19th  
    e. Having lunches for May 17th and 18th,
    f. Transfers in Alaçatı Tour on May 18th,
 

 

11. Is there any offered accomodation?

        Altin Yunus Oteli (Hotel Golden Dolphin).
      For DECOM07 only, for one night, single room 60 EUR/person, double room 45 EUR/person (Breakfasts and Dinners are included).

14. Is there any airport shuttle from airport to hotel and hotel to airport?

      There will be airport shuttle from airport to Çeşme (Altınyunus Otel/Hotel Golden Dolphin) on 16th May and from Çeşme (Altınyunus Otel/Hotel Golden Dolphin) to airport on 20th May which is free for IFAC DECOM-TT ’07 registered participants. Transportation schedule will be announced on the website (www.deu.edu.tr/decom07/program.htm).

17. How many minutes should a presentation last?

    Every presentation should last 13 minutes.

 

18. Is there any logo of IFAC DECOM-TT '07 that I can use for my presentation?

    You may use these logos for your presentations.
