This illustration shows the sub-use case, [Specify Message Properties], of the use case Enqueue a Message in the AQ Operational Interface.

To specify message properties, you must:

• Record the message ID
• Set no priority (the default is 1), or set specific priority
• Set no delay (the default) or set specific delay
• Set no expiration (the default) or set specific expiration
• Specify no exception queue (defaults to the system provided queue) or specify exception queue
• Specify the sender_id (defaults to NULL)

You may optionally specify the correlation id (defaults to null), or specify recipients (only with mult-consumer queues).

You must also specify the sender_id.
