This directory information tree shows two database connect descriptors, each under a different Oracle Context. Dots represent entries. Lines connect dots, showing the hierarchical relationship between entries.

One of the connect descriptors, a net service name, is under the default context. It has a distinguished name of cn=sales,cn=OracleContext,dc=acme,dc=com. The other, a database service, has a distinguished name of cn=salesdb,cn=OracleContext,dc=acme,dc=com. The two distinguished names are two separate branches of the directory information tree.
