To log on to the administration tool, you must first configure your J2EE engine and Web server. For more information, see Installing Oracle Ultra Search.
The Ultra Search administration tool supports two modes of logging on, depending on the type of user. You can log on as:
Immediately after installation, the only users able to create and manage instances are:
Therefore, you must first log on as one of these users to create Ultra Search instances and grant permission to other users. SSO users are managed in the Oracle Internet Directory. Local database users are managed with Oracle Enterprise Manager.

Note: The Ultra Search product database dictionary is installed in the WKSYS schema.
To administer Ultra Search, enter the following: http://<your host>:<port>/ultrasearch/admin/index.jsp
