This figure shows the process of changing from the original to the new Metadata Repository.

The figure consists of two Metadata Repositories containing product metadata. The first Metadata Repository, called asdb1.myco.com, points to an Identity Management setup, which in turn communicates with a Master Repository containing Single Sign-on schema and OID schema. The Identity Management setup contains a Single Sign-On Server and OID Server. The Single Sign-On Server accesses the Single Sign-On schema and communicates with the OID Server, which accesses the OID schema. The Identity Management setup also contains DAS and DIP instances.

The second Metadata Repository, called asdb2.myco.com, points to the identity management setup. A middle-tier instance communicates with the second Metadata Repository and the Identity Management setup.
