The figure shows two new nodes running new Oracle Identity Management instances. One instance runs Oracle HTTP Server, OracleAS Single Sign-On, and Oracle Delegated Administration Services. This instance is clustered with the OracleAS Single Sign-On / Oracle Delegated Administration Services instance installed in step 6 to form an OracleAS Cluster (Identity Management). A load balancer configured with the HTTP virtual server name of sso.mydomain.com fronts these instances.

The second instance runs Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Directory Integration and Provisioning, and Oracle HTTP Server. This instance is associated with the Real Application Clusters database for its OracleAS Metadata Repository. This instance and the source Oracle Identity Management instance, which now runs the same components (OracleAS Single Sign-On and Oracle Delegated Administration Services have been disabled on the source Oracle Identity Management instance), are fronted by the same load balancer. This load balancer is configured with the HTTP virtual server name of sso.mydomain.com.
