For this step, the figure shows two new nodes fronted by a load balancer. The load balancer has a virtual server name of sso.mydomain.com.
Both of these nodes are active. These new nodes run the following Oracle Identity Management components: Oracle HTTP Server, OracleAS Single Sign-On, and Oracle Delegated Administration Services. The Oracle home for the Oracle Identity Management instance is on the local storage of each node.
These nodes are associated with the virtual hostname and IP of the cold failover cluster running the Oracle Identity Management instance and OracleAS Metadata Repository.
The figure shows the topology up to this point. The topology now includes the following:
Vendor clusterware on the local storage of each node in the cold failover cluster
Oracle home for the OracleAS Metadata Repository cold failover cluster database on the shared storage
Data transfer from the source OracleAS Metadata Repository to the cold failover cluster database
Oracle Identity Management instance running on the cluster nodes
Oracle home for the Oracle Identity Management instance on the shared storage
Middle tier associated with the virtual hostname and IP (you use the virtual hostname and IP to access the Oracle Identity Management and OracleAS Metadata Repository)
OracleAS Single Sign-On and Oracle Delegated Administration Services components crossed out on the nodes in the cold failover cluster
