Our goal is to make Oracle products, services, and supporting documentation accessible, with good usability, to the disabled community. To that end, our documentation includes features that make information available to users of assistive technology. This documentation is available in HTML format, and contains markup to facilitate access by the disabled community. Accessibility standards will continue to evolve over time, and Oracle is actively engaged with other market-leading technology vendors to address technical obstacles so that our documentation can be accessible to all of our customers. Accessibility of Code Examples in Documentation
Screen readers may not always correctly read the code examples in this document. The conventions for writing code require that closing braces should appear on an otherwise empty line; however, some screen readers may not always read a line of text that consists solely of a bracket or brace.
Accessibility of Links to External Web Sites in Documentation
This documentation may contain links to Web sites of other companies or organizations that Oracle does not own or control. Oracle neither evaluates nor makes any representations regarding the accessibility of these Web sites.

Sometimes you may encounter an error that is known as an abnormal condition, which may arise from one of the following causes:
Someone has done something that prevented your application from completing the requested task. For example, if someone bypassed the user interface and changed data in a database table, they might have typed an invalid value.
A software bug prevented the requested task from completing.
Action: First contact your system administrator to determine if the message was caused by something other than OracleAS Portal. If you determine that the message was not the result of user error or a system problem, then contact Oracle Support Services.
Some errors (that is, internal errors) will require that you call Oracle Support Services to report the error. When you call Support Services, please have the following information at hand:
Your name, company, and Oracle Support ID number.
The hardware, operating system, and release number of the operating system you are using.
The complete version number of the component you were using when you encountered the error, including revision number and port release number, if any.
Note: If you are unsure of the component's version number, click the Global Settings link in the Services portlet (by default, this portlet is located on the Portal sub-tab of the Administer tab of the Portal Builder Page). On the resulting page, the version number is displayed in the Version Information section of the Main tab (at the bottom of the page). |
All other products (and version numbers) in use when you encountered the error (for example, Oracle 8.0.4).
