This illustration shows OracleAS Wireless, including the following components: Device/Network Adaptation, XML Application Framework, and HTTP Adaptor as part of Oracle Application Server. OracleAS Wireless stores the applications in the Wireless Repository, through the HTTP Adapter and XML Application Framework. Web content is stored in the Web Clipping Repository, through the Web Clipping server.

Through any gateway, OracleAS Wireless and Oracle Application Server serve up content for the wireless application that displays in a user's wireless device, such as a cell phone.
