The prefs_script_exec.gif image shows the iSQL*Plus Script Execution Configuration Preferences screen. It is one of 3 screens available under the System Configuration menu option. It has an Oracle iSQL*Plus logo in the top left, and the three standard iSQL*Plus navigation icons: Logout, Preferences and Help in the top right, separated from the main body by a horizontal line.
The right hand end of the dividing line contains two selectable tabs. Neither tab is active. They are labelled Workspace, and History.
The body is labelled Script Execution, and a drop down menu is displayed on the left side. The first option of the drop down menu is Interface Configuration.The remaining options are: System Configuration and Change Password. System Configuration has 3 sub options, Script Formatting, Script Execution, which is selected, and Database Administration.
The body shows the fields and buttons for those preferences visible in the image, but there are more available by scrolling down. The text underneath the body label, Script Execution, reads, "Configure settings that affect how scripts are parsed and executed". At the right hand end of this line, there are two buttons labelled, "Cancel", and "Apply". The visible options are labelled:
Array Size, with the text, "Set the number of rows (batch) to fetch from the database at one time.". There is an associated input field labelled, "Rows", which has the value, "15".
Check SQL Syntax, with the text, "Set whether to check SQL statements for conformance to ANSI/ISO SQL92 standard". There are 4 associated radio buttons labelled, "Entry", "Intermediate", "Full", and "Off". Off is selected.
Commit Changes, with the text, "Set whether to automatically commit pending changes to the database". There are 3 associated radio buttons labelled, "On", "Off", and "Immediate". Off is selected. There is also an associated input field labelled, "Number of statements or blocks before commit", which is blank.
Commit When Copying, with the text, "Set the number of batches after which a commit will be performed when copying data". There is an associated input field labelled, "Number of batches", which is blank.
