DESEM is the Continuous Education Center of Dokuz Eylül University.

The Dokuz Eylül University has good facilities to perform such an international meeting. DESEM is found behind the rectorate of Dokuz Eylül University, and it has one big (approx. 300 persons) hall and two small halls and suitable poster and exhibition areas. Furthermore, it is very close to the center of the city, and the sea is very near to DESEM (approx. 100 m).
