Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Business is providing students with the opportunity to meet distinguished academics from various European countries. Students and academics will have the chance to discuss Global Issues for one week along with a chance to create contacts and networks.

Theme focused on Global Issues

The theme of the International Week 2010 will be political, economic, intercultural and technological issues facing the global environment. This theme was chosen in recognition of the multiple forces which influence the way countries, regions and firms compete. The aim is to raise greater awareness for students about various aspects of global arena within which intense competition takes place. The focus includes, but is not limited to, issues such as

ü intercultural management

ü cultural dimensions in economic management

ü political issues in an intercultural context

ü information technology for global competitiveness

ü intercultural business environment
