Isaac syndrome: Case report

 Isaac syndrome is characterized by muscle weakness, spasms and continuous muscle fiber activity (CMFA). peripheral neuropathy and hyperhidrosis may also be seen. An immune-mediated peripheral nerve membrane potassium channel disorder is considered in the etiopathogenesis of the disorder. Carbamazepine, phenytoin and immunesupression are the therapeutic choices. We report a case with Isaac syndrome and discuss the treatment and EMG findings.
