TKA 655-656 Contemporary Fiber Art and Parameters I-II: (Prof. Suhandan Özay Demirkan) The presentations of textile arts in the frame of fiber art and conceptual variation comments. Study of aesthetical and artistic basis on turning of traditional textile techniques into new interpretations through the new technological developments.

TKA 623-624 Design and Production Connection in the New Trends of Fashion Accessories I-II: (Prof. Suhandan Özay Demirkan) With  the points of social and artistic views, study of design and production connections in the direction of improvement processes of fashion accessory products; reflections and solutions of contemporary fashion accessory trends. 

TKA 669-672 Fabric Design Fashion Industry Relationships I-II: (Assoc. Prof.Nesrin Önlü)
In view of fashion and industry relationships, the process period of fabric design, the importance of fashion factor and tendencies in this period.

TKA 637 Traditional and Modern Design Tendencies  of the Century (in German): (Prof. Suhandan Özay Demirkan)
Research and interrogation of classical and modern design principles in the new century. Examining the role of new communication techniques in design.

TKA 659 Anatolian Jewellery Sources: (Prof. Suhandan Özay Demirkan)
The study and analysis of the social, cultural and political factors as a source of historical inspiration of Anatolian jewellery culture; formation of jewellery design and collection.

TKA 661-662 3D Accessory Product Design and Presentation Methods I-II:
Design process of accessory products; the use of  modeling programs with the application of  3D  design; new technological approaches in the product presentations.

TKA 643-644 Fabric, Form and 3D Design in Apparel I - II: (Assoc. Prof. Fatma Mete)
The interrelationships between the fabric, trims, form and design of a garment artifacts.  The characteristics and performances of fabrics and trims, their structures, properties and production techniques, with the emphasize on their functional and visual performances in garment.

TKA 645-646  Apparel Analysis I - II: (Assoc. Prof. Fatma Mete) The aesthetics and functional analysis and comparision of  various garment artifacts and the collections of famous fashion designers.  Systematic analysis of the developments on design model and production techniques; studying the details of the material, production techniques, design and model by performing  the product analysis.

TKA 663-664 Symbolic Expressions in Textile Patterns I-II: (Assist. Prof. Füsun Özpulat) The graphical language in textile patterns with countless symbols, carrying visual messages which were made by people in different eras and places. Establishing the connections of  symbolism with current textiles and fashion.

TKA  667 Social Structure and Fashion: (Assist. Prof. Cemal Meydan) Fashion is literally a social phenomeon, which is brought about by conscius groups and individuals with certain values, rules and meaning emerging with interactions of all elements ( factors) within a given (environment) among and upon one another .Put simply, it is a fruit of a social order which finds its functional necessity in its own sources. In this perspective, one will study etimology, concept, principles, definitions, social sources and influences of fashion.

TKA  680 Design and Product  Development for Home Textiles: (Assist. Prof. Cemal Meydan) Planning the product groups, study of product types, product development and design criteria in theory and practice regarding the home textile which is the most developing and invested sector in recent years.
