Fashion Apparel Design Education of the students is performed by academic staff & experienced lecturers from outside who are professionals of Turkish Textile and Apparel Industry. Design program is supported with field researches, technical tours, internship and practical works at various fashion houses, textile and ready-made clothing firms. The students learn computer supported design and production with the advanced CAD/CAM systems such as GGT – Gerber Garment Technology – Artworks, ASSYST – AssyCAD and AssyLAY, etc. Students studying in the final class become expert in one of the fields they choose such as woman clothing, man clothing, child clothing, lingerie, smarty apparel. (Fashion design I, II, III; pattern design, CAD fashion design (including Gerber clothing technology, Art Works by Assyst, AssyCAD and Assylay CAD/CAM), draping, fashion fabric design I, II, III; fashion graphics, presentation techniques)
