Math 435 Mathematical methods in Computer Aided Geometric Design, Computer Aided Geometric Design Lecture

course is to provide fundamental mathematical foundation for dealing with curves and surfaces. By the end of this course students are expected to

  1. generate, describe and modify curves and surfaces.
  2. appriciate de Casteljau's algorithm, Bezier and spline curves and surfaces

This course is offered in the academic year Fall 2003. One may access the quizzes and their answres (you should have acrobat reader and/or ghostview Remember that the laser printer fonts are created by cubic Bezier curves. So prefer ghostscript and ghostview), and their grades. For aims & scopes, text book and detailed schedule please read the syllabus
